We’re busy and expanding our team again! We are a well established, professional periodontal office looking for a part-time dental hygienist who will feel right at home with our team.

Part-Time: 2-3 days a week.
Responsibilities:
- Perform periodontal assessments, charting, and periodontal maintenance
- Provide non-surgical periodontal therapy, including scaling and root planing
- Take diagnostic radiographs and monitor periodontal health
- Educate patients on periodontal disease and individualized oral hygiene care
- Administer local anesthesia as needed
- Assist the periodontist during procedures and maintain a clean, sterile operatory
- Accurately document findings and treatment in electronic dental records
Skills:
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Attention to detail and clinical precision
- Ability to work collaboratively in a periodontal specialty practice
- Knowledge of periodontal procedures, terminology, and instruments is an asset
- Comfortable using dentrix software and electronic charting is an asset
Please note that a valid dental hygiene license with local anesthetic module completed is required for this position.
