About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Hardscape / Landscape Crew Member to join our growing team. This is a hands-on position focused on the construction and installation of high-quality residential and commercial outdoor spaces.
Working as part of a skilled crew, you will assist with site preparation, excavation, grading, base preparation, material installation, and landscape construction. This role is well suited to someone who takes pride in their workmanship, enjoys working with their hands, and is interested in developing practical skills within the landscaping and hardscaping trades.
This is a year-round position. During the winter season, our crews transition to snow removal, providing the opportunity for consistent employment throughout the year.

Responsibilities
- Assist with the construction and installation of patios, walkways, retaining walls, steps, and other hardscape features
- Perform site preparation, including excavation, grading, leveling, and soil removal
- Prepare and install proper granular bases and compaction for hardscape applications
- Assist with the installation and finishing of pavers, natural stone, armour stone, and other landscape materials
- Assist with drainage, edging, planting beds, sod, planting, and other landscape construction
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, compactors, and other equipment
- Load, transport, and place construction and landscape materials
- Read and follow project plans, measurements, layouts, and instructions from crew leaders
- Maintain accurate and consistent workmanship throughout each stage of a project
- Keep job sites organized, clean, and safe throughout the construction process
- Properly maintain and care for company vehicles, tools, and equipment
- Follow all company safety procedures and job-site requirements
- Communicate effectively with crew leaders and management regarding project requirements or issues
- Represent the company professionally while working on customer properties
Requirements
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to producing quality work
- Strong work ethic and professional attitude
- Comfortable performing physically demanding work for extended periods
- Comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Able to follow instructions, measurements, layouts, and construction specifications
- Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a crew
- Willingness to learn new construction techniques, tools, and equipment
- Valid driver’s license is an asset
- Previous experience in landscaping, hardscaping, construction, excavation, masonry, or a related trade is an asset
- Experience operating compact equipment is an asset
- No formal trade experience is required — we are willing to train the right candidate
