Position Summary
Davidson Environmental is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Customer Service & Dispatch Coordinator to join our operations team.
This position serves as a key communication link between customers, drivers, and management. The successful candidate will coordinate daily service schedules, support drivers in the field, assist customers with service requests, and help ensure the smooth execution of daily operations.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem solving, and can effectively balance customer service with logistical coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond professionally to customer inquiries by phone and email.
- Coordinate daily service schedules and dispatch drivers to customer locations.
- Monitor routes and adjust schedules as operational needs change throughout the day.
- Support drivers by providing information, resolving issues, and communicating customer requirements.
- Review route paperwork for accuracy and completeness.
- Process customer requests, service changes, and service-related documentation.
- Assist with data entry, reporting, and administrative tasks.
- Support month-end billing preparation and related administrative functions.
- Maintain accurate records within company software systems.
- Work collaboratively with operations, management, drivers, and office staff.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of administrative experience.
- Previous dispatch, logistics, transportation, routing, or scheduling experience is considered a strong asset.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to learn company software and routing systems.
- Experience working in transportation, logistics, recycling, waste management, or a service-based industry is an asset.
- Ability to remain calm and professional when managing changing priorities and urgent situations.
- Availability to participate in occasional weekend coverage as required.

- The anticipated wage range for this role is $25.00 to $28.00 per hour. However, we will consider each candidate's experience, skills, and overall fit when determining final compensation.

- Monday to Friday
- Occasional weekend coverage as required
