Job Title: Organizational Change Management Specialist
Location: Edmonton, AB
Duration: 12+ months (With possible extension)
Working Mode: Onsite
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Collaborate with project sponsors, project teams, operational teams, vendors, cross-functional teams, and Change Network to ensure all project activities are completed.
- Collaborate with Program Manager in the development of project schedule plans and strategies, estimate resource requirements, develop and monitor work plans for completion of project tasks.
- Build and deliver presentations relating to change management for various levels of the organization (Executive, Branch, etc.).
- Plan and facilitate meetings with management and other stakeholders as required.
- Conduct stakeholder identification and stakeholder analysis
- Assess and manage key stakeholders.
- Conduct gap analysis, change impact analysis.
- Develop and implement effective change strategies and communication plans/materials
- Ensure information is communicated to impacted audiences throughout the duration of the project/program.
- Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress.
- Identify risks and issues relating to change management functions.
- Conduct business and stakeholder readiness assessments.
- Proactively engage and lead relevant stakeholder engagement in support of ongoing adoption and sustainment.
- Provide specialized advice and support to ensure the consistent and effective application of change management methodology, tools, and approaches.
- Leverage approved digital, collaboration, and AI‑enabled tools, where appropriate, to support change analysis, content development, stakeholder engagement, communications, and reporting activities, in alignment with policies and standards.
- Ensure new technology solutions or applications are rolled out successfully and in a sustainable way.
- Writing compelling copy to create engaging communications.
- Understand the role of communication in change management - working to reposition organizational change and end user needs and expectations.
Required Qualifications:
More than 3 years of experience in:
- Change management methodologies and principles.
- Experience conducting stakeholder analysis and change readiness assessments through workshops, focus groups, and surveys.
- Experience developing and implementing effective change plans.
- Experience developing and implementing effective communication plans, resistance management plans, training plans, organizational change management approaches and toolkits.
- Experience identifying and tracking change management key performance indicators (KPIs) and key behavioural indicators (KBIs).
- Experience with Change management lifecycle (business and system).
- Experience with ERP systems change management (e.g., Finance, HCM/Payroll, Supply Chain Management).
- Experience working as Change Manager on large complex custom software application development project.
- Experience executing change impact assessments to understand and document scope/scale of changes.
- Experience working with government or public sector.

Pay: $60.00-$80.00 per hour
