Duties
- Assist customers in selecting the right auto parts and accessories by understanding their vehicle requirements and providing detailed product information.
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling, credit card processing, and order fulfillment.
- Maintain organized inventory levels through effective order management and stock replenishment, ensuring availability of popular items.
- Operate computer systems s for inventory tracking, sales reporting, and data entry; utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for parts management when applicable.
Qualifications
- Previous dealership or auto recycler experience or retail sales background within the automotive parts industry is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and cashiering responsibilities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively and provide clear technical explanations.
- Knowledge of automotive repair processes, maintenance procedures, and related tools is preferred.
- Computer skills and workable knowledge
- Excellent organizational skills to manage inventory, fulfill orders efficiently, and maintain a tidy workspace.
- Demonstrated customer service excellence with phone etiquette skills and a positive attitude in fast-paced environments.
