Barista
The Sharp Music Cafe Brunch
At The Sharp Music Cafe Brunch, brunch, coffee, and live music come together to create a warm and memorable experience for every guest.
We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and service-minded Barista to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in making quality drinks, and helps create a calm, welcoming atmosphere in a busy brunch cafe.

What You’ll Do
- Prepare coffee, espresso drinks, tea, and other beverages with care and consistency
- Create clean and well-presented drinks, including basic latte art
- Provide warm and friendly service to guests at the counter and in the cafe
- Take orders accurately and enter them correctly into the POS system
- Answer questions about drinks and menu items and offer helpful recommendations
- Support light food and dessert service as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, equipment, and service areas
- Restock supplies and help keep the cafe running smoothly during busy service
- Work closely with the front and back of house team to support efficient service
- Follow food safety, cleanliness, and service standards at all times
What We’re Looking For
- Previous barista, cafe, restaurant, or customer service experience is an asset
- Comfortable preparing basic espresso-based drinks
- Basic latte art skills required
- Friendly, professional, and confident when speaking with guests
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Able to stay organized and work efficiently in a busy brunch environment
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Passion for coffee, hospitality, and creating positive guest experiences
- Weekend and holiday availability preferred
