We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Supervisor/Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to safety protocols
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support during shifts
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with food safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment
- Assist with meal preparation during busy periods to meet customer demand
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
- Serve food to customers when necessary, ensuring prompt and courteous service
- Train new staff on food preparation, safety procedures, and restaurant policies
Experience
- Proven experience in food service, preferably in a restaurant or similar setting
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques
- Experience supervising or leading a team within a kitchen environment is a plus
- Familiarity with the food industry trends and customer service excellence
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Prior experience with restaurant operations and kitchen management is highly desirable
