Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and hardworking Laborer to join our team. This role involves assisting with various manual tasks across our project sites, supporting the efficient operation of daily activities. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, dependable, and eager to contribute to a dynamic work environment. Prior experience is a plus but not required, as training will be provided. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills and gain hands-on experience in a construction or industrial setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment
- Perform general site cleanup and maintenance to ensure safety and organization
- Support skilled tradespeople with basic tasks as needed
- Operate hand tools and light machinery under supervision
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear at all times
- Help with site preparation, including setting up barriers or signage
- Contribute to team efforts to meet project deadlines efficiently
Experience
- Prior experience in manual labor, construction, or industrial work is advantageous but not mandatory
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks consistently throughout the workday
- Strong work ethic with reliability and punctuality
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work well within a team environment
- Basic understanding of safety procedures related to manual labor roles is preferred but can be learned on the job
- Flagging certification considered a asset
