Job Summary:
Reporting to the Terminal Manager, the Shunt Driver/Dock Worker will provide trailer positioning services as well as operate a forklift to load/unload freight as necessary.
Work Schedule/Shift: Monday-Friday 05:00am-1:30pm
Based: 2170 Matrix Cres, Kelowna BC
Responsibilities:
· Loading and unloading freight safely and efficiently
· Shunting trailers in the yard as required
· Ensuring freight is properly secured and staged
· Completing basic paperwork and equipment inspections
· Maintaining a clean and organized dock area
Qualification Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 driver’s license
- Previous dock or warehouse experience considered an asset
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Dependable with strong work ethic
Compensation & Benefits: $28.00/hr
