Axe Throwing Event Leader – Part-Time (Calgary, AB)
Looking for a fun, flexible part-time gig where you get to run the show? We’re adding a few Event Leaders to our crew — and we’re looking for people who can own the room.
If you love engaging with big groups, thrive on high energy, and can get 60 strangers laughing, cheering, and competing, this could be your perfect fit.
What You’ll Do
As an Event Leader, you’ll host groups of all sizes — from casual drop-ins to full-blown corporate parties of up to 60 guests.
- Be the face of the event — you’ll speak to large groups confidently and keep the energy high
- Guide guests through safety and throwing basics
- Run fun games and tournaments (and get everyone hyped)
- Encourage, motivate, and keep the vibe fun, safe, and welcoming
- Help with light cleaning and maintenance
- Build your own axe throwing skills (yes, you’ll be throwing too!)
What We’re Looking For
- 2 people with flexibility/daytime availability
- Based in Calgary, AB
- Able to reliably get to and from work
- Positive, outgoing individuals
- A great sense of humour
- ProServe certification
- Comfortable using basic tools (drills, hammers, etc.)
- Able to lift 30 lbs
- Most importantly: You’re confident speaking to large groups (up to 60 people), thrive on high energy, and can engage, encourage, and motivate a crowd.
