Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Sewer and Drain Cleaning Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, cleaning, and repairing sewer lines, drains and storm systems using specialized tools and techniques. Your expertise will help ensure our clients’ systems operate smoothly, providing vital solutions that keep their properties safe and functional.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operate plumbing and drain cleaning equipment to clear blockages in sewer lines and drains and storm systems efficiently.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment to repair or replace damaged piping.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately diagnose issues on-site.
- Perform heavy lifting of equipment, pipes, and debris safely while adhering to safety protocols.
- Conduct maintenance repairs on plumbing systems when required.
- Perform on call duties for plumbing and drain emergencies after hours.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, including inspection reports and service logs.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized service vehicle.
- Provide clear, professional communication with customers on-site.
Qualifications:
- Experience in drain cleaning, sewer service, or plumbing (preferred but willing to train the right candidate)
- Ability to operate or learn drain cleaning and inspection equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude
- Physically capable of handling demanding work environments
- Valid driver’s license with towing experience.
- Reliable, professional, and customer-focused attitude
