Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Mechanic Helper to join our maintenance team. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in mechanical repair and maintenance within a dynamic work environment. The ideal candidate will assist experienced mechanics in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining equipment, contributing to the smooth operation of our facilities. Candidates should be eager to learn, detail-oriented, and committed to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed mechanics with routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment
- Support in diagnosing mechanical issues using basic tools and techniques
- Help disassemble, clean, and reassemble parts during repair processes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear at all times
- Assist in inventory management by organizing tools and replacement parts
- Perform general labor tasks as directed by senior mechanics or supervisors
Experience
- Prior experience in mechanical or technical fields is a plus but not required; on-the-job training will be provided
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems or tools is beneficial
- Strong willingness to learn new skills and develop technical knowledge
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work effectively as part of a team
- Good communication skills and attention to detail are essential
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks safely
