Duties
- Greet guests warmly, take their orders accurately, and serve food and drinks promptly to ensure a positive dining experience
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and soft drinks, following all safety and quality standards
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS for order entry, billing, and cash handling with precision
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, tables, and service stations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Manage cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders and address any guest concerns proactively
- Uphold food handling procedures and safety standards to ensure a safe environment for both guests and staff
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant or food service environments, with a strong background in serving or bartending roles
- Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS or similar platforms for efficient order processing and cashiering
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations gracefully
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours without compromising service quality
- Knowledge of food safety standards, proper food handling techniques, and alcohol serving regulations
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and inventory management
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced hospitality setting while maintaining a lively attitude
