Overview
Papagino Foods Inc. is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Office Administrative Assistant to join our team on a full-time contract basis for 3 to 6 months. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, customer service experience, and experience working with an online store. This position involves general office duties, customer support, accounting-related tasks, inventory assistance, and online order processing.
Duties
- Perform general office and administrative duties
- Answer customer phone calls and emails, and assist walk-in customers with orders
- Address and resolve customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner
- Maintain filing and record-keeping systems, both electronic and manual
- Match paid invoices with reports for accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Maintain and update customer and supplier files
- Verify invoice and purchase order codes for accuracy
- Prepare and process cheque runs
- Perform bank and account reconciliations
- Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing and payment follow-ups
- Conduct banking transactions and deposits
- Perform credit control and collection activities
- Assist with job costing and budgeting
- Manage inventory control and stock records
- Prepare online orders for pickup and mailing
- Assist in maintaining and updating the online store using Shopify
- Ensure strict confidentiality and privacy of company and customer information
Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
