Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services. This position requires proficiency in various dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a welcoming environment for patients.
Duties
- Assist the dentist during procedures (Restorative, surgical, endodontic, prosthodontic) by providing necessary instruments and materials.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
- Take dental radiographs.
- Take intraoral scans and 3D print models and appliances.
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the office.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient operations and high-quality patient care.
- Handle administrative tasks as needed, including billing and insurance verification.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry.
- Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Dentrix.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
- Experience with 3D printing technology is considered a strong asset.
- Certification in HARP.

Pay: $23.00-$33.00 per hour
