Job description
Perform inspections and maintenance on fire extinguishers including cleaning, repairing, documenting and installation. Submit reports and paperwork in a timely and organized fashion.
Pay will be commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities include:
- assisting with inspections, repairs, and service
- conducting visual inspections of fire extinguishers
-completing and submitting daily reports
- availability to work days up to 35 hours/wk
Qualifications include:
- formal fire technician education is an asset but not required
- ability to work in a team environment
- mobile platform/fall arrest certification an asset
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- strong organizational and time management skills
- strong attention to detail
- positive & enthusiastic, detail-oriented team player
Requirements include:
- valid/current Nova Scotia License with clean abstract
- access to a vehicle
- secondary school diploma, minimum
- ability to lift up to 50lbs

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16.0 – 40.0 per week
