We are looking for a enthusiastic team member to start up our RAS Manufacturing Division with in the RAS family. If your looking for a path to success and the future of automation then RAS is here for you.
- Minimum 2 years experience as a CNC setup/operator in a custom environment preferred. A machinist trade certificate or experience in a tool and die setting is considered an asset.
- Must adhere to strict tolerances, able to work proficiently with precision measuring equipment, ie. vernier/micrometer, calibrate tools and set tool offsets.
- Must have a strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials and tooling.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimum supervision, be dependable, have strong self-initiative, be flexible and consistently meet deadlines.
- Must have a positive attitude, able to make sound decisions and can work well in a team environment.
- Must be able to read/interpret drawings/part specifications and able to verify/adjust speeds and feeds for optimum machining.
- Must be able to adapt to ever changing priorities and production requirements.
- Must have excellent communication skills, respect all team members and be reliable.
- Will also be required to assist in machine builds from time to time.
- Available shifts: days and afternoons
- Willing to work overtime when required.
- Starting wage will reflect applicant’s experience.
