Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender and Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, preparing and serving drinks and food, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food and beverage industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Take orders from guests accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following standard recipes and safety guidelines
- Serve food items promptly while maintaining high-quality customer service
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the bar and dining areas in accordance with food safety regulations
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables or bar patrons simultaneously
- Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring proper food handling practices are followed
- Provide guest services with professionalism, hospitality, and a positive attitude
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred, especially in hospitality or the food industry
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and billing accurately
- Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Kitchen experience or food preparation skills are advantageous but not required
- Must be 18 years or older with legal authorization to serve alcohol if applicable
