We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Warranty Administrator Clerk to join our team and help ensure accurate and timely processing of warranty claims.
The Warranty Administrator Clerk is responsible for managing warranty claims, maintaining warranty records, and ensuring compliance with manufacturer policies and procedures. The successful candidate will work closely with the service department, technicians, and manufacturers to facilitate efficient warranty processing and reimbursement.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, submit, and track warranty claims in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
- Review repair orders and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Monitor warranty receivables and follow up on outstanding claims.
- Process warranty payments and reconcile warranty schedules.
- Communicate with service advisors, technicians, and manufacturers regarding claim requirements and approvals.
- Maintain accurate warranty records and documentation.
- Identify and correct claim discrepancies to minimize claim rejections.
- Assist with manufacturer warranty audits and reporting requirements.
- Support administrative functions within the service department as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in warranty administration, automotive service administration, or a related clerical role is considered an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent data entry and computer skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with dealership management systems is an asset.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of automotive warranty procedures and manufacturer policies is preferred.
