Position: Temporary Full-Time Teaching Position (Maternity Leave Coverage)

End Date: December 31, 2026
Kleos is seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to fill a temporary full-time teaching position to cover a maternity leave. The position is anticipated to run from August 31, 2026 to December 31, 2026.
Salary: $62,854.59*
- Salary based on full-Time Equivalency (FTE) is calculated based on the number of students in a teacher's case load.

Responsibilities:
- Plan engaging lessons that meet learners where they are at
- Host student-centred IEP meetings
- Develop IEPs in collaboration with Resource Teachers
- Deliver content using D2L Brightspace (LMS)
- Offer regular / weekly synchronous learning opportunities using Zoom
- Provide timely, dynamic, and responsive assessment feedback
- Report progress to families
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Education Degree
- Valid BC Teaching Certificate
