Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Condo Building Cleaner to join our team in at Castlerock Building Maintenance Inc. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our residential condominium facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning and facilities maintenance, with a focus on providing a safe, welcoming environment for residents and visitors. This position offers an opportunity to work in a professional setting where attention to detail and reliability are highly valued.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of common areas, hallways, lobbies, stairwells, and elevators within the condo building
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including sinks, toilets, mirrors, and fixtures
- Maintain cleanliness of windows, glass doors, and other surfaces to ensure a polished appearance
- Conduct routine facilities maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, reporting repairs, and ensuring safety hazards are addressed promptly
- Manage waste disposal and recycling procedures according to building policies
- Monitor supplies and notify management when restocking is needed
- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning and maintenance activities to ensure a secure environment for residents and staff
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, commercial cleaning, or facilities maintenance preferred
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Knowledge of proper cleaning chemicals and equipment usage
- Reliable with excellent time-management skills to complete daily tasks efficiently
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety guidelines
- Prior experience in building or facilities maintenance is a plus but not required
