Position: MIG/TIG Welder/Fitter
Location: Weston/Finch (North York)
Payrate: $25.00 up to $35.00 per hour (DOE)
Permanent after 3 months of probation
Our client is a manufacturer of industrial vacuum systems. They are looking to add to their production team
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Weld products according to specified blueprints and procedures
- Build products from blueprints and ensure quality measures are applied
- Organize and maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area in a professional and safe manner
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- 3- 5 years of welding and fitting experience
- Proficiency with MIG and TIG welding of thin gauge stainless steel
- Must be able to pass TIG and MIG test
- Read and interpret welding blueprints and drawings specifications
- Ability to use lifting devices and jib crane
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, complete repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, organize deadlines and priorities
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Strong team player
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Some heavy lifting
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
