Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Houseman to join our housekeeping team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in public areas, and back-of-house spaces. This role is essential in ensuring our guests experience a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment. Prior experience in hotel or custodial services is preferred, but a strong work ethic and attention to detail are equally important. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic hospitality setting with a focus on cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Duties
- Assist with cleaning and maintaining corridors, lobbies, and public areas to hotel standards
- Perform routine custodial tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal
- Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, and linens in guest rooms and public spaces
- Support housekeeping staff with special cleaning projects or heavy-duty industrial cleaning as needed
- Ensure all areas are safe, clean, and well-organized for both guests and staff
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Assist with guest requests
- Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a secure environment for guests and staff
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality environments is preferred
- Knowledge of hotel cleaning procedures and standards is a plus
- Ability to perform industrial cleaning tasks when required
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and lift light loads
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete assigned duties within scheduled shifts
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $16.50-$17.50 per hour
