Job Summary
Join our dynamic security team as a Security Guard and Crowd Controller, where your vigilance and proactive approach will ensure a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for all. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring premises, managing access points, and overseeing crowd behavior during events or busy periods. Your keen eye for detail and commitment to safety will help prevent incidents, deter theft, and maintain order. This position offers an exciting opportunity to play a vital part in safeguarding people and property while fostering a positive atmosphere.
Shift hours 12pm-8:30pm
Duties
- Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV to observe activity across the premises and identify potential security risks
- Control access for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by verifying credentials and issuing passes
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility to ensure safety protocols are followed and identify any irregularities or hazards
- Manage crowd flow during events or peak times by directing individuals and maintaining order in high-traffic areas
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies by coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary
- Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and visitor records for reporting purposes
- Enforce safety policies and loss prevention measures to protect assets and prevent theft or vandalism
Requirements
- Prior experience in law enforcement, security, surveillance, or loss prevention is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of CCTV operation and monitoring techniques
- Excellent observational skills with the ability to detect suspicious activity quickly
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations while effectively managing crowds
- Physical fitness to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods throughout shifts
- Good communication skills to interact clearly with team members, visitors, and emergency responders
- Certification or training in security procedures or law enforcement practices is a plus but not mandatory
