The Director, Revenue will provide strategic and operational leadership for revenue accounting and restricted funds management across ACA, Emergency Health Services, Cancer Care Alberta, and Give Life Alberta. This position will report to the Senior Program Officer, Finance at ACA. Working collaboratively with ACA leadership, health ministries, and other health entities, the Director Revenue will oversee the preparation and review and revenue recognition entries, restricted fund accounting transactions, accruals, reconciliations, and supporting documentation for financial reporting and audit purposes. This role will also provide oversight of restricted grant agreement reviews, billing rate methodologies for acute care clinical services, and the development of policies and guidelines that support effective revenue and restricted fund management. As the revenue function continues to evolve, the Director will build and lead a high-performing team while fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistency, accountability, and excellence in financial stewardship.

Required Qualifications:
Professional accounting designation with financial reporting experience. Minimum ten (10) years of progressively responsible accounting, financial reporting, or finance experience. Comprehensive knowledge of Public Sector Accounting Standards (PSAS) and demonstrated experience applying accounting standards, policies, and financial reporting requirements. Demonstrated experience providing strategic financial advice and recommendations to senior leadership. Demonstrated leadership experience, including project management, team leadership, and mentoring. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results within established timelines. Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex issues and develop practical solutions. Demonstrated commitment to continuing improvement, process automation, and operational efficiency. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with large, complex data sets and financial models.
