About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and organized Restaurant Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our busy Kerala restaurant in Mississauga. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a deep understanding of Kerala and South Indian cuisine.
The successful candidate will ensure smooth restaurant operations, maintain inventory, manage online orders, and lead the team to provide outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the restaurant.
- Oversee and coordinate staff to ensure efficient service.
- Pack and verify Uber Eats, SkipTheDishes, DoorDash, and takeout orders accurately.
- Manage order preparation and ensure timely dispatch.
- Handle inventory management, stock ordering, and stock rotation.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and minimize food waste.
- Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation.
- Implement and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth workflow.
- Ensure cleanliness, food safety, and compliance with health regulations.
- Assist with scheduling and supervising staff.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Prepare operational reports and maintain restaurant documentation.
- Support purchasing and vendor coordination.
Requirements
- Previous restaurant management or supervisory experience is required.
- Strong knowledge of Kerala and South Indian cuisine is mandatory.
- Experience with food delivery platforms such as Uber Eats, SkipTheDishes, and DoorDash.
- Experience with inventory control and stock management.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing a Kerala or South Indian restaurant.
- Familiarity with restaurant POS systems.
- Experience with scheduling, purchasing, and staff training.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Pay: $3,000.00-$3,500.00 per month
