Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the cabinetry and multiunit construction markets.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, contractors, and industry partners.
- Conduct market research to analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Lead negotiations to secure contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
- Manage existing accounts to foster long-term partnerships and maximize sales growth.
- Develop targeted campaigns that generate leads.
- Utilize Salesforce or similar CRM tools to track prospects, sales activities, and client interactions.
- Prepare compelling proposals and presentations tailored to client requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure project delivery aligns with client expectations.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility.
Requirements
- At least 2+ years of proven experience in business development, B2B sales, or account management within the cabinetry or construction sectors preferred.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and internal teams.
- Analytical skills to interpret market data and develop strategic plans.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms for managing sales pipelines.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to influence decision-makers at various levels.
- Marketing knowledge to support lead generation initiatives.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
- Demonstrated business development experience in multiunit construction or related industries is highly desirable.
- Ability to travel across GTA
Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
