Position Summary
The Administrative Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Executive Manager/Operations Manager, ensuring the efficient day-to-day functioning of the clinic. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and reconcile physician uninsured services for payment on a quarterly basis, ensuring accuracy and completeness prior to physician payouts.
- Investigate and resolve health card validation errors, including reviewing eligibility issues, correcting patient information, and following up as required.
- Assist with administrative reporting, data entry, record maintenance, and document management.
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and correspondence as requested by the Operations Manager.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with clinic policies and procedures.
- Support quality improvement initiatives and assist with operational projects.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient, physician, and clinic information at all times.
- Provide general administrative support, including filing, scanning, scheduling, and other office duties.
- Complete additional administrative and operational tasks as assigned by the Operations Manager to support the ongoing needs of the clinic.
Qualifications
- Previous administrative experience, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting.
- Experience working with electronic medical records (EMRs) is considered an asset.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple deadlines.
- Professional, dependable, and committed to maintaining confidentiality.
Pay: $18.00-$18.50 per hour
Experience:
- Accuro EMR : 1 year (preferred)
