Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Lane and Snack Bar Attendant to join our team.
Must be 18 or older.
This role involves providing excellent customer service, answering to lane calls, preparing and serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized bowling alley. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in food industry or restaurant settings is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of snacks, beverages, and light food items with attention to quality and presentation
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate cashiering and transaction processing
- Handle cash and process payments efficiently while maintaining accurate cash handling procedures
- Positive customer service attitude is a must all aspects of this position.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations
- Manage inventory levels and restock supplies as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and addressing concerns promptly
- Ensure the snack bar area is organized, sanitized, and compliant with health standards at all times
- Assist in basic food preparation tasks as required, adhering to proper food handling procedures
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers quickly without compromising quality
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or food industry roles is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks such as lifting supplies or stock items
- SMART SERVE AND FOOD HANDLER IS A MUST
