Overview
We are looking for a reliable and organized part-time kitchen assistant to join our childcare team. In this role, you will maintain a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment while helping to prepare and serve safe meals for children. Hours for this position are 12 PM- 5 PM, Monday to Friday.
Duties
- Wash, sanitize dishes, utensils, and cookware efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and storage areas in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Organize food inventory, storage areas and kitchen supplies.
- Prepare and serve afternoon snacks to classrooms safely (strictly manage and review all allergies and dietary restrictions before serving).
- Follow all health and safety guidelines related to food handling and sanitation practices
The successful candidate will be required to provide the following documentation before the start date: Valid food handler certificate, Clear Vulnerable Sector Check, Up-to-date proof of immunizations
Pay: $17.60-$19.00 per hour
