Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team. This role involves assisting with various manual tasks across different work sites, supporting the overall operations of our projects. Responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment at job sites
- Perform general manual labour such as digging, lifting, and moving supplies
- Support skilled tradespeople by preparing tools and materials needed for tasks
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards on-site by disposing of waste and organizing work areas
- Follow safety protocols and report any hazards or incidents immediately
- Operate basic equipment under supervision as required
- Assist with setting up work zones, barricades, or signage as necessary
- Support team members in completing project tasks efficiently and effectively
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic with a focus on safety and attention to detail
- Prior experience in construction, landscaping, or general labour is a plus but not required
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Reliable transportation or access to the work site location
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks as needed
- Must have machine experience with excavators and skid steers
