Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installer / Renovation Technician to join our construction team. This role involves performing drywall installation, finishing, and renovation tasks to enhance residential and commercial spaces. Responsibilities
- Install drywall panels accurately according to project specifications and blueprints
- Finish drywall surfaces by taping, mudding, sanding, and applying texture as needed
- Perform renovation tasks including carpentry, caulking, and minor repairs to prepare spaces for painting or finishing
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project plans to ensure precise execution
- Apply construction painting techniques when required for final finishes
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during installation and finishing processes
- Assist with general handyman tasks related to remodeling and renovation projects
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience in drywall installation, finishing, or related construction work
- Knowledge of construction painting, carpentry, caulking, and blueprint reading is highly desirable
- Strong handyman skills with the ability to perform minor repairs and renovations
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow detailed instructions accurately
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license are required for job site access
- Prior experience in construction or remodeling projects is a plus
