Job Description
Interior Visions is looking to hire a Blinds Installation Technician to join our team. The role involves installing and repairing blinds for residential and commercial projects. This position is ideal for someone who is hands-on, reliable, comfortable working with tools, and interested in learning more about modern blind systems, including motorized blinds.
Main Responsibilities
· Install blinds in residential and commercial buildings
· Repair and adjust blinds as needed
· Take accurate measurements on job sites
· Use hand and power tools safely, including drills, chop saws, laser levels, and other installation tools
· Work at heights when required
· Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and team members
· Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe
· Complete various tasks as required depending on the project
Requirements
· Basic knowledge of construction work
· Ability to take accurate measurements
· Comfortable working at heights
· Able to lift more than 30 lbs
· Good communication and customer service skills
· Flexible and willing to handle different tasks as required
· Comfortable using hand tools and power tools
· Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
· Valid driver’s licence required
· English required
· Must have basic personal protective equipment, such as safety boots and other standard job-site PPE
Assets
· Bilingual
· Currently taking or completed carpentry training
