Journeyman Sprinkler Fitter / 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice
North Country Fire Protection is seeking a Journeyman Sprinkler Fitter or experienced 3rd/4th Year Apprentice to join our team in Grande Prairie, Alberta.
We are looking for a motivated individual with strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on fire sprinkler installation experience. The ideal candidate can work independently, take pride in their workmanship, and contribute positively to a small, growing company.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Sprinkler Fitter or registered 3rd/4th Year Apprentice
- Valid driver’s license
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Ability to provide work references
Preferred Experience
Applicants should have experience with some or all of the following:
- Installing BlazeMaster CPVC sprinkler systems
- Measuring, cutting, and assembling CPVC pipe and fittings
- Reading and working from sprinkler drawings
- Installing hangers, sprinkler heads, and associated components
- Branch line and main line installation
- Grooved steel pipe installation
- Working safely and efficiently on commercial construction sites
