Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation and cleanup of work sites to ensure a safe and organized environment.
Carry out manual tasks such as lifting, moving materials, and operating basic tools under supervision.
Support skilled tradespeople by providing necessary materials and equipment as needed.
Help with site safety inspections, including maintaining clear pathways and proper storage of tools and materials.
Participate in loading and unloading supplies, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage or injury.
Follow safety protocols diligently and report any hazards or incidents immediately.
Contribute to maintaining a clean and efficient work environment by disposing of debris and organizing supplies.
Experience
Previous experience in general labour or construction is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated newcomers eager to learn.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Strong attention to safety procedures and willingness to adhere to all health and safety regulations.
Good communication skills for effective teamwork and understanding instructions clearly.
Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in construction or maintenance work is advantageous but not mandatory.
A proactive attitude with a willingness to take on diverse responsibilities as needed on the job site.
