Overview
As a Renovation Carpenter, you’ll play a key role in completing interior renovation projects from framing to finish. This position is ideal for a hands-on tradesperson with experience in trim work, millwork, interior framing, drywall, and painting. You’ll work both independently and collaboratively to bring spaces to life, ensuring precision and quality on every job.
Responsibilities
- Perform interior framing, blocking, and layout for renovation projects.
- Execute trim and finish carpentry, including installation of baseboards, casings, crown molding, and custom millwork.
- Hang, tape, and repair drywall, ensuring a smooth, paint-ready surface.
- Complete surface preparation and painting, achieving a clean and professional finish.
- Assist in fixture and hardware installation, such as doors, shelving, and cabinetry.
- Collaborate with tile installers, plumbers, and electricians to ensure seamless project flow.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, following safety and quality standards.
- Transport tools and materials between job sites and perform occasional light demolition or prep work as required.
- Upload daily reports and information tracking on software provided by Reshape Consulting.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 year of experience in renovation carpentry or a related trade (trim, drywall, or framing).
- Skilled with hand and power tools, measuring accurately, and working to tight tolerances.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 80 lbs) and handle physically demanding tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality workmanship.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required to travel between local job sites.
- Basic understanding of construction safety practices.
- Fluent English.
