Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Warehouse Operative to join our Tire distribution warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for order fulfillment, shipping and receiving tires and wheels. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse and logistics systems and , contributing to the smooth flow of goods within a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Perform order picking, packing, and fulfillment to ensure accurate and timely delivery of Inventory
- Load and unload tire and wheel shipments using appropriate equipment while adhering to safety protocols
- Organizing inventory through warehouse management systems , ensuring accurate stock counts.
- Assist with shipping & receiving processes, including documentation and quality checks
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency
- Support manufacturing or construction-related tasks as needed, including heavy lifting and assembly
- Utilize mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues and performing basic maintenance
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety(WHS)standards related to operations and warehouse procedures
Experience
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Knowledge of order picker, packaging, shipping & receiving processes, and order fulfillment procedures
- Capability to lift,carry,manouvre heavy objects ( frequently up to 80lbs)knowledge or experience with heavy lifting and equipment maintenance is a plus
- Prior background in warehouse distribution or tire logistics is advantageous
- Attention to detail, basic math for counting inventory, basic computer/digital literacy with a Strong understanding of warehouse safety standards and procedures.

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
