Job Summary
The Regional IT&IM Coordinator serves as a champion of the Vision and Mission and promotes an environment that is consistent with the Health Centre’s Statement of Values and Principles. The Regional IT&IM Coordinator is an essential member of the client-centered health professional Team. The Regional IT&IM Coordinator will work with the other members of the Health Centre’s teams to effectively and efficiently serve Health Centre clients through traditional, non-traditional and innovative approaches to service delivery within the broad determinants of health framework.
The Regional IT&IM Coordinator will assist the Chief Information Officer in the implementation of strategic Information Technology and Information Management solutions and best practices in order to improve client care and public accountability.
What we are looking for:
- A self-motivated, avid information management and technology professional with a get-things-done attitude!
- Passion for providing day-to-day technical support; quality control and innovation; and has at least 3-10 years of experience in the Information Management and Technology environment;
- Excellent communicator and Relationship Building skills;
- Ability to build and maintain relationships;
- Experience with VMware and Hyper-V required;
- Experience in managing Cyber Security protocols;
- Experience deploying and troubleshooting Microsoft Server products;
- Strong communication skills, tech savvy and works well with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Experience in Project Coordination
- Ability to communicate in both official languages is an asset.
What you can expect to do:
- Provide day-to-day technical support within a ticketing systems;
- Engineer, deploy and manage a Backup system and Disaster recovery systems;
- Engineer, deploy, secure, and manage Patch management Servers and all backend devices/appliances;
- Deploy and Maintain Cyber Security at an organizational level (EDR, Anti-Virus, Firewalls etc.);
- Develop and manage networking mapping documents (network diagram);
- Designing and implementing cloud-based solutions and provide expertise in cloud architecture and services (O365, Azure, AWS, Datto, etc.);
- Deploy and manage switches and routers at the core and departmental levels;
- Configure VPN tunnels and connections to all relevant networks;
- Travel to partner sites as needed.
