At Wilsons Home Hardware Building Centre in Yarmouth, we're looking for an enthusiastic Appliance Sales Associate who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and helping customers choose appliances they'll enjoy for years to come.
Whether a customer is replacing a broken refrigerator, renovating their kitchen, or building a new home, you'll become a trusted resource by helping them find the right appliance solutions for their home, lifestyle, and budget while providing the outstanding service the Wilson Group is known for.

What You'll Do
- Welcome customers and provide knowledgeable, friendly service.
- Help customers compare appliance brands, features, and pricing.
- Recommend complete kitchen and laundry packages that meet customers' needs and budgets.
- Prepare quotes and process sales accurately.
- Follow customer orders from purchase through delivery, ensuring a smooth customer experience.
- Work closely with our delivery team, vendors, and service department.
- Keep the appliance showroom clean, organized, and well merchandised.
- Stay up to date on new products through manufacturer training and ongoing learning.
- Build lasting customer relationships that encourage repeat business and referrals.
What We're Looking For
- Previous retail or sales experience is an asset.
- Experience selling appliances, electronics, furniture, kitchens, or home improvement products is considered a strong asset.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Comfortable learning technical product information and explaining it in a way customers understand.
- Strong computer skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
- Availability to work some evenings and Saturdays.
