Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Pharmacy Technician with proven proficiency in TELUS Health pharmacy software to join our pharmacy team. The successful candidate will assist in the preparation and dispensing of prescriptions, provide exceptional customer service, and ensure operational efficiency and compliance with pharmacy regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process and prepare prescriptions using TELUS Health software (e.g., Kroll)
- Enter and maintain patient and prescription information in accordance with privacy regulations
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and verifying prescription details
- Manage third-party billing, resolve claim rejections, and process insurance transactions
- Coordinate refills, transfers, and special orders as required
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked work environment
- Assist with inventory control including ordering, receiving, and managing stock levels
- Handle telephone inquiries and communicate effectively with healthcare providers and patients
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician program
- Proven experience using TELUS Health pharmacy software (Kroll, PharmaClik Rx, or equivalent)
- Minimum 2–3 years of retail pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong understanding of third-party billing and adjudication processes
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure in a fast-paced environment

- Pharmacy setting (retail)
- May require standing for extended periods
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends as needed
