NS Modular is growing, and we're on the lookout for a passionate, detail-driven Pipefitter, whose primary responsibilities include installing various pipe specifications. This will be accomplished through the ability to review and interpret blueprints and other diagrams to understand requirements. The Pipefitter must possess technical knowledge of how to properly fit pipe and identify the right type for the job. What You’ll Be Doing
- Promote and adhere to NS Modular Safety Management System
- Layout and mark piping for cutting
- Operate hoisting and lifting equipment
- Industrial Maintenance and Brown Field
- Working with Isolation and Lockout
- Working with hydraulic torquing equipment
- Cold cutting
- Hydro Testing with use of plugs
- Rigging
- Field Measuring, Layout and Dimension new Spools
What You Bring to the Table
- Must provide proof of Pipefitter Red Seal Journeyperson Certification
- Experience in fitting structural and piping fabrication
- Ability to read and interpret isometric drawings, drawing specifications, manuals, and processes
- Ability to troubleshoot and determine corrective action is an asset
- Basic computer proficiency considered an asset
- Strong ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Commitment to working safely and following safety protocol
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to understand and follow instructions
- Ability to use judgement and apply discretion when making decisions
- Possess a positive and professional attitude, set a high standard, and convey professionalism at all times
- Any valid safety-related training certificates would be considered an asset (i.e., WHMIS, forklift, fall protection, etc.)
