Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. Duties
- Assist with bookkeeping tasks using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or PeopleSoft to record financial transactions accurately.
- Manage accounts payable processes by verifying invoices, processing payments, and maintaining vendor records.
- Handle accounts receivable activities including invoicing clients, tracking payments, and following up on overdue accounts.
- Perform account reconciliation procedures for bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Support payroll processing by collecting relevant data and ensuring timely salary payments.
- Aid in budget preparation and account analysis to support financial planning efforts.
- Contribute to auditing activities by preparing necessary documentation and assisting with internal or external audits.
- Maintain organized records of financial documents, reports, and transaction histories for easy retrieval and compliance purposes.
Experience
- Prior experience or internship in accounting or finance is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or PeopleSoft is highly desirable.
- Basic understanding of bookkeeping principles, account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting processes.
- Knowledge of accounts payable and receivable procedures will be advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Eagerness to develop expertise in corporate finance, auditing practices, and financial services.

Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
