About Healing Waters Spa
At Healing Waters Spa, our mission is simple: we take care of people. Located in Edmonton, Alberta, we are a full-service European esthetics day spa where skilled, intentional hands-on care sits at the center of everything we do. Our recently renovated space has been thoughtfully curated as a space for the guests we are privileged to serve, and for the team that brings it to life every day.
Alongside our esthetics services, massage therapy is a cornerstone of what we offer. Our RMTs work within a spa environment that genuinely values therapeutic outcomes, not just the experience of relaxation, but the lasting impact of skilled, evidence-informed care.

Our massage therapy team includes practitioners who have been with Healing Waters for two, four, and six years — a reflection of what we believe a good work environment can be. What we are looking for is someone ready to contribute to that.
Our Space
Healing Waters offers a full-service spa environment including private treatment rooms, RMT services, esthetics treatments across two professional product lines, and our celebrated Hammam, a full-body ritual treatment inspired by the traditional hammam experience found throughout the world. While the Hammam is a beloved part of what makes Healing Waters distinctive, it is not part of the RMT scope of practice here. Our therapists are free to focus entirely on what they do best.
Who You Are
- You hold current, up-to-date knowledge of massage therapy practice, anatomy, and evidence-informed approaches to treatment
- You bring expert technique and genuine therapeutic skill. A hands-on ability that goes beyond the basics and reflects a commitment to craft
- Client safety and wellbeing are non-negotiable for you; you approach every treatment with care, professionalism, and sound clinical judgment
- You understand the value of homecare and take the time to provide meaningful, individualized recommendations that support your clients between sessions
- You invest in your client relationships. You are the kind of therapist people come back to, and you understand why that matters
- You communicate openly, collaborate well, and show up for your team the way you show up for your clients
- You are reliable, thorough, and take your commitments seriously
- You have a genuine passion for this work and a desire to keep growing within it
What You’ll Do
- Deliver therapeutic massage treatments across the modalities we currently offer, including Myofascial Cupping (MFC), Hot Stone, Thai Table, Reiki, Prenatal, and Couples massage, tailored to each client’s individual needs and treatment goals
- Conduct thorough health history intakes and assessments to inform safe, effective treatment planning
- Develop individualized homecare recommendations and communicate them clearly with clients
- Build and maintain a client base through consistent, skilled care and genuine connection
- Maintain accurate and complete SOAP notes and records in accordance with professional standards
- Uphold the hygiene, safety, and professional standards of Healing Waters Spa
- Collaborate with the broader team and contribute to a culture rooted in care
- Share responsibility for light housekeeping, room turnover, and light opening/closing duties

Qualifications
- Member in good standing with your chosen Massage Therapy Association
- Completion of a recognized massage therapy diploma program
- City of Edmonton License
- Strong foundational and advanced manual therapy skills
- Experience working in a spa, clinical, or multidisciplinary environment is an asset; training or experience in any of our current modalities is a plus: Myofascial Cupping (MFC), Hot Stone, Thai Table, Reiki, Lymphatic Drainage, Prenatal, and Couples massage
