We are looking for a creative and motivated digital marketing coordinator. Must be able to work independently as well as a team player.
We are a boutique digital marketing agency located in Vancouver that is looking for a digital marketing coordinator. A current employee is going on maternity leave for 1 year and we need to fill their role for this time period. This will be just over 1 year contract basis that includes 1 month of training on procedures and clients.
We have several monthly marketing clients that we manage their blogs, social posts and email newsletters for. Your role will be to manage the authors that write the content, source images for posts, organize the content for the client preview. We give the clients an appropriate amount of time for feedback and once the content is approved you would post the content to the website and social platforms. Some of the social posts we also boost with Facebook & Instagram ads using our specific procedures.
Basic WordPress website maintenance skills and experience with MailChimp or equivalent newsletter management software is required.
When a request comes in that is beyond your skill set of web design/web development we have a programmer that will be able to help assist with updating websites. Clear communication via screenshare recorded videos will be shown during training to assist with managing any programmer related tasks.
Skills needed:
- Very organized and positive attitude
- Ability to follow systems and procedures
- Basic WordPress maintenance
- MailChimp or equivalent experience
- Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google Business Profile posting
- Experience with Google Drive (Docs, Sheets, etc)
- Great communication skills
Tasks include:
- Managing writers content and feedback
- Managing clients content and feedback
- Sourcing topics & images for blogs, social posts and newsletters
- Organizing content documents inside Google docs
- Managing programmer related web maintenance requests
Details:
- Pay: $32/hour ($53,000 - $61,000)
- Hours: 35-40 hours/week (9 am to 5 pm)
- Start Date: July 7th, 2026
- End Date: August 31, 2027
- Remote work
- Must have your own computer. No specific software required. Training will include access to time logging timesheets and payroll software.
