BrightiQ is a growing commercial lighting company serving Ottawa–Gatineau. We specialize in interior and exterior lighting for bars, restaurants, patios, dealerships, and commercial properties.
Projects typically range from $3,000 to $15,000.
We are looking for a motivated sales representative to help expand our commercial client base.
-Position Overview
This is a commission-based role focused on:
- Prospecting commercial businesses
- Cold outreach (phone & in-person)
- Setting meetings with decision-makers
- Presenting our lighting services
- Closing deals
This is not a full-time salary position. It is ideal for someone who:
- Already works in sales
- Wants additional income
- Is comfortable hunting new business
- Compensation
- 10–12% commission on closed sales
- Average project value: $3K–$15K
- No cap on earnings
- Flexible schedule
Example:
Close a $10,000 project → earn $1,000–$1,200 commission
Strong performers can realistically earn $2,000–$5,000+ per month depending on effort.
- Responsibilities
- Identify commercial prospects (bars, restaurants, dealerships, retail, etc.)
- Conduct cold calls and site visits
- Qualify opportunities
- Follow up and close deals
- Maintain professional communication

- Confident speaking with business owners
- Self-motivated and organized
- Comfortable with commission-based compensation
- Reliable transportation
- Previous B2B sales experience preferred
