We are also on a bus route, with a stop just outside of the hotel, and our complimentary shuttle also picks up our employees from the bus loop at UBCO!
What will you be doing?

Greet guests in a friendly, engaging manner and assist with drink/food recommendations

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold drinks such as coffee, tea and specialty beverages
-
Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other beverage making equipment
-
Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
-
Operate the POS for processing customer transactions efficiently
-
Maintain cleanliness in the coffee preparation and serving areas
-
Uphold food safety standards in food handling and preparation
-
Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly
-
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods
-
Demonstrate a complete knowledge and understanding of the sequence of service, food and beverage service standards, and all other service standards.

Have full and complete knowledge of all menus
-
Ability to answer any guest question about food items, beverages and wines in an informative and helpful way.

What are we looking for?

Previous experience working as a Barista

Serving it Right Certificate

Experience working in the food service industry preferred

Food & Beverage knowledge an asset
