Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring the property, preventing theft or vandalism, and maintaining a safe environment for staff and visitors. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and proactive security measures are essential.
Duties
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to identify any suspicious activity or safety hazards.
- Monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV cameras, to oversee all areas of the premises.
- Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, including alarms or disturbances.
- Enforce access control procedures by checking credentials and maintaining visitor logs.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing and reporting theft or unauthorized access.
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of daily activities.
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies at all times.
Experience
- Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems, CCTV operation, and loss prevention techniques is advantageous.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to recognize potential security threats quickly.
- Excellent communication skills for effective reporting and interaction with staff and visitors.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations. This position is integral to maintaining a secure environment and requires a dedicated individual committed to safeguarding property and personnel through vigilant observation and prompt action.
Pay: $19.00-$27.76 per hour
