Applus+ QPS is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Project Coordinator to join our growing team. Reporting directly to the Business Line Manager, this role plays a critical part in ensuring the successful execution of certification and testing projects from initiation through completion. This position will be located at our office in Toronto and on-site.
As a key point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders, you will coordinate project activities, manage timelines, facilitate communication between teams, and help deliver an exceptional client experience. What You'll Do

Serve as a primary liaison between customers, engineering teams, and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Communicate project requirements, timelines, sample needs, and technical documentation requirements to customers.

Review technical documentation and prepare project packages for kick-off.

Coordinate and assign projects to engineering staff based on project scope, priorities, and resource availability.

Track project milestones and ensure project activities are completed on schedule.

Support project coordination activities across Ordinary Location (OrdLoc) and Toronto Hazardous Location (HazLoc).

Utilize business systems and project management tools, including Microsoft Dynamics, to manage project assignments and monitor progress.

Proactively identify project risks, scheduling challenges, and resource constraints, helping to drive timely resolution.

Collaborate with internal teams to address customer concerns and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications

Post-secondary education in Engineering, or a related discipline or Minimum of 3 years of project coordination, customer service, or related experience.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to successfully manage multiple projects and competing priorities.

Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and relationship-building abilities.
Preferred Qualifications

Project Management diploma, certificate, or formal project management training.

OACETT certification or EIT of PEO.

Experience using Microsoft Project or similar project management software.

Previous experience within the Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) industry.

Familiarity with technical documentation, including manuals, datasheets, drawings, and product specifications.

Experience working in engineering, testing, certification, or other technical environments.
