Position Overview
Strategic is seeking a dynamic and highly organized Leasing Coordinator to support the leasing operations of our residential properties. This role involves managing inquiries, handling leasing paperwork, and assisting in the overall leasing process to ensure efficient occupancy and tenant satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong customer service focus, and a passion for delivering exceptional tenant experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Leasing Responsibilities
- Lease suites and/or renew upcoming lease expiries, keeping specific leasing goals in mind.
- Welcome and qualify customers, either on the phone or in person, with the ultimate goal of gaining a new resident.
- Ensure that applications from potential residents are correctly filled out.
Customer Relationship and Service
- Collaborate effectively with the team to address customer service requirements and achieve team objectives.
- Exhibit organizational skills and the ability to cultivate excellent relationships with customers.
- Follow up with potential residents to ensure no lead goes unnoticed.
Market Research and Reporting
- Conduct monthly visits to competitive properties to stay informed about market conditions and complete competitor surveys.
- Prepare traffic reports, vacancy reports, and other required paperwork.
Qualifications
- 1+ year experience as a residential leasing coordinator or associate or previous sales experience, coupled with sharp organizational skills.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel.
- Experience with Yardi Voyager is considered an asset.
- Hold a valid driver’s license and have access to a reliable vehicle.
- Must be flexible to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holiday hours to meet business requirements.
