Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Vacuum Calibrator/Assembler/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. This role involves assembling, fabricating, and calibrating precision components used in high-tech vacuum systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with manufacturing processes, and the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints. Duties
- Assemble vacuum components and systems according to detailed schematics and blueprints
- Fabricate parts using various hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and machining tools
- Calibrate vacuum systems to meet strict specifications and quality standards
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints for assembly instructions
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to move materials within the facility
- Use calipers and other measuring tools to ensure precise fabrication and assembly
- Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to safety protocols
- Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues during assembly or fabrication processes
- Follow safety guidelines related to welding, machining, and handling of materials
Qualifications
- Proven experience in manufacturing, assembly, or fabrication roles, preferably within a warehouse or industrial setting
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and mechanical drawings
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, machining tools, and calipers
- Experience operating forklifts and familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical instructions accurately
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience with welding, machining, or fabricating high-precision components is desirable
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role
